Salk Institute Tour
Acclaimed by architects as one of the world’s boldest structures, The Salk Institute for Biological Studies embodies Jonas Salk’s mission to dare to make dreams into reality. Completed in 1965 in La Jolla, California, and now designated a historical site, the facility boasts open, unobstructed laboratory interiors on such a dramatic coastal bluff location that no researcher or scientist could ever lack inspiration for their work.
Pictured here is my perception of this iconic architectural wonder of groundbreaking science.
"Hope lies in dreams, in imagination, and in the courage of those who dare to make dreams into a reality."
- Dr. Jonas Salk
