Guatemalan Goodness

Guatemalan Goodness

Nena & Co., a business based in Utah and Guatemala, works with Mayan artisans to create hand-woven textiles integrated into many products such as bags, hats, camera straps, satchels, jewelry and more. I stumbled upon this unique company through Instagram and fell in love within seconds.

What makes this textile company special is the fact that sales from each product provide Guatemalan women with an honorable income as well as time to care for their children as they are able to work from home.  And each piece is designed with functionality and style in mind, embodying the free spirited, everyday woman.

I had ogled their goods online for months on end before I came across a camera strap that I could not live without.  With such individual, one-of-a-kind designs, how can anyone pass up these authentic, handmade beauties?  And they look even better with age as they wear well and look great when heavily loved. See more for yourself at Nena & Co. and be sure to check out their Instagram for some major boho babe inspo. My Hungarian Vizsla Dutch agrees!
