A visual discovery of the 1935 Old Cacti Garden located in Balboa Park, San Diego... I found these beauties to be quite mesmerizing with their unusual shapes, sizes + coloring. So much so that I couldn't resist asking my future hubby to snap some photos of me while we were there. He caught me in more natural poses, worked with the sunlight + even followed the standard rule-of-thirds that many non-photographers are unaware of. Managing to capture an authentic looking light leak in one shot impressed me even more since he was operating on a digital camera. The cacti images are my own, but I certainly can't take credit for the photos he took of me - stunning!
