Today my future hubby + I ventured over to the neighborhood of Little Italy in San Diego to enjoy lunch together. With no plans of where to eat, we walked as we usually do until we found something that caught our eye. If you miss the giant living succulent garden wall with copper accents on the front of the building, you must be blind because that's the very thing that pulled me in. Once inside the restaurant, there was more than enough visual interest for my eyes to feast on that I felt full in more than one way when we left. I wanted to photograph everything I saw - from octopus lanterns to vintage suitcases + everything in between. I also couldn't get over how the combination of my white gold engagement ring, the copper table tops + my gold foil manicure looked so striking together. And did I mention how lovely their business card + postcard was made out of actual slivers of wood? So if you're in the neighborhood + have a hankering for some great seafood that nods to Little Italy's waterfront past with its authentic atmosphere , then Ironside Fish + Oyster is the place to go.
