Rolling Crate Coffee Table
Over the course of a few hours between shopping for materials, assembling the table + then staining the wood, the Mr. + I completed a project for our new home in sunny California. I can’t wait to get it into our living space and fully utilize its functionality by filling it with books and other decorative accessories!
Items purchased include:
4 wooden crates from Michael’s (which I later discovered that Home Depot sold as well) for a total of $50.
Bolts and nuts for $6, stain + a brush for $20, four iron casters for $22, and the plywood was free since the clerk couldn’t find the item on the computer to ring it up (score!) - all purchased from Home Depot.
An appropriately sized glass container for $7 + a variety of succulents for $25 were bought at Walmart.
First Patrick quickly sanded the crates down. Next, he bolted them together + attached the plywood base followed by the caster wheels. I finished up the project by staining the wood + then planting the succulent garden.
For about $130 bucks, we made our very own 28 inch square coffee table - isn’t it cute?! I’ll feature it again once we can begin using it, so be sure to follow to see it in our new living space. We’ll be moving from our temporary residence in just two weeks, so it won’t be long!
